Hello,
I have a small problem getting pytone running after installing it via synaptic on my ubuntu.
Ubuntu installs a global pytonerc in /etc/ and a personal in your home directory.
I configured the values for the music and the database directory, but pytone kept claiming that the value of the directory was still empty.
It is so, that pytone seems to read the values of the global config file and ignores the settings in my ~/.pytonerc file.

Ehm its ~/.pytone/pytonerc.
Doh,
ok, just copied my /etc/pytonerc into the place you suggested and it works.. ok, my fault.
Looks like I misread the info about where to place the pytonerc.
