This is a great player, and the one thing which would cause me to adopt it w/out reservation is successfully setting up the audioscrobbler plugin.
I'm on Ubuntu 5.10 Breezy Badger. I've installed PyTone using Synaptic.
I figured out that I had to put scrobbler.py in /usr/share/pytone (I was getting complaints of not finding the scrobbler module). I've copied audioscrobbler.py into ~/.pytone/plugins.
My pytonerc is as follows:
[general] plugins = termtitle audioscrobbler
[database.main] musicbasedir=/home/mellow/Music basename=mellowtunes
[plugin.audioscrobbler] username = "XXXXX" password = "XXXXX"
[player.main] crossfading = off crossfadingstart = 2 crossfadingduration = 3
When I check the log output ("!") I see a complaint of unknown configuration option "username" in [plugin.audioscrobbler].
