Hi,
I tried today pytone 2.3.0-pre1 and python-flac support and it works as expected, the only thing that seems to be missing is a working progress-bar. It stays at "0:00/ 6:10" during the whole song.
Forwarding en reversing through the song worked, as well as speeding it up or slowing it down :) I was surprised that the crossover was working too.
Don't know if you had much feedback about flac support, but if the progress bar is fixed, the experimental flag, for my part, could be dropped. (for the limited set of flac files I have)
PS SHN is next now :) If only there were python-bindings...
Kind regards, -- dag wieers, dag@wieers.com, http://dag.wieers.com/ -- [all I want is a warm bed and a kind word and unlimited power]

Have you had a look at flacdecoder.read in src/decoder.py? That's where I stopped last time - maybe the bindings are more "robust" now...

Fast forward and reverse should actually not work...

Not quite yet, see above.
