Hi Joerg,
I noticed that when you pause a song (using the OSS driver) the audio device can be used by other programs. But when the playlist ends, the audio device is not released.
I'm using pytone to get to sleep, schedule some songs and disable random/repeat modes. Since I can't make it wake me up with a playlist I use another tool, but that doesn't work because pytone is still using the audio device.
PS Still looking to implement an alarm clock inside of pytone.
Kind regards, -- dag wieers, dag@wieers.com, http://dag.wieers.com/ -- [all I want is a warm bed and a kind word and unlimited power]

I've checked in a changed to the player code. Could you please check whether this fixes the problem.
